The Orioles picked up a rare win by a 7-6 count in eleven innings against Tampa Bay but are still on a 2-12 run. Starter Kevin Gausman lasted 2.1 innings with four runs given up on eight hits that forced six relievers in to action. The Birds offense added nine hits and three free passes with Chris Davis going deep twice with three RBI’swhile Jonathan Schoop smacked a two run bomb. The Orioles send Ubaldo Jimenez to the hill to face the Blue Jays for the 4th time in 2015. Jimenez is coming off of a 4-3 loss at Texas where he gave up four runs on eight hits and three BB in 5.2 frames.

The Jays logged nine hits and a trio of free passes with Josh Donaldson going 3-4 with three RBI’s and two runs while Troy Tulowitzki knocked in two with Ben Revere scoring twice. The Blue Jays go with Drew Hutchison on the mound in Friday’s series opener with Baltimore. Hutchison has been at his best the last three times out with a 3-0 record and 1.74 ERA.
