The playoff hopeful Texas Rangers hope for another road win against the Seattle Mariners.
The Texas Rangers still have the American League West title in their sight but they have to keep winning. The Rangers continued to win with a 3-0 victory at Seattle Monday and have won eight of eleven. Starter Yovani Gallardo tossed 5.1 scoreless frames with three relievers finishing the job. The offense totaled six hits and walked four times with Adrian Beltre smacking a two run double while Rougned Odor doubled and scored. Left hander Cole Hamels draws Tuesday’s start against the Mariners. Hamels is coming off of a 4-3 victory at San Diego where he gave up three runs on eight hits over seven frames.

The Seattle Mariners are playing well as they attempt to reach the .500 mark. The Mariners had won seven of ten before the bats went silent on Monday. Starter Roenis Elias allowed two runs on five hits and a pair of bases on balls through 5.1 innings to take the loss. The M’s logged seven hits and walked twice with Robinson Cano going 2-4 while Brad Miller tripled. The Mariners are slated to send Taijuan Walker to the hill for his third start of 2015 against the Rangers. Walker defeated Houston 8-3 last time out with all three runs scored on five hits in 6.2 innings.
Texas are 8-0 in their last 8 games as a favorite while the under is 6-1-1 in their last 8 games as a favorite and is 7-2-1 in their last 10 road games. The over is 21-4-2 in Seattle’s last 27 home games and is 15-5-1 in their last 21 games as an underdog while going 19-7-3 in their last 29 Tuesday games. The Rangers are 3-8 in the last 11 meetings I don’t know why but I don’t have a strong feeling with Hamels pitching…
