The Boston Red Sox conclude their visit with the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday afternoon.
The Boston Red Sox were heating up a week or so ago but have been struggling the past week. The Red Sox had lost three of four before a five run 9th led the way to a 7-6 win at Toronto. Starter Wade Miley allowed two runs in 6.2 frames before Noe Ramirez and Robbie Ross gave up two runs apiece. The offense pounded out 13 hits and walked three times with Jackie Bradley Jr. going deep and driving in three while Xander Bogaerts went solo and scored twice. The Red Sox send Rich Hill to the mound for his second start of the season and second since 2009. Hill did not get a decision in a 2-0 win at Tampa Bay where he tossed a one hitter over seven frames.

The bats logged eight hits and walked eight times that saw Edwin Encarnacion and Jose Bautista going deep and driving in five runs while Josh Donaldson walked three times and scored three runs. Veteran left hander Mark Buehrle looks to get back in the win column when he faces the Red Sox Sunday. Buehrle dropped a 3-2 decision at Atlanta last time out with two runs plated (one earned) in five innings.
The over is 11-3 in Boston’s last 14 Sunday games and is 12-5-1 in their last 18 road games while going 37-16-2 in their last 55 overall. Toronto are 37-14 in their 51 overall and are 37-14 in their last 51 home games while going 39-15 in their last 54 games on astroturf. The under is 6-2-1 in the last 9 meetings in Toronto. The Jays need a big effort from Buehrle and on paper he has the edge…
