The Toronto Blue Jays know one more hot streak would likely be enough to wrap up the American League East. The Blue Jays have lost some opportunities the past week or so and after Tuesday’s defeat the team has been saddled with losses in three of four. Starter Marco Estrada allowed two runs through 6.2 innings with Mark Lowe absorbing the loss with three runs given up in the 10th. Th Blue Jays played the power game with Edwin Encarnacion, Dioner Navarro and Kevin Pillar connecting on long balls. The Blue Jays turn to Marcus Stroman for his second start versus the Yankees in 2015. Stroman comes off of a 6-1 win versus the Red Sox with a run plated on six hits in seven innings.
