The New York Mets were leaning heavy on their pitching with great success until the 6th inning of game two of the NLDS before the Dodgers bats game to life and the work on the mound couldn’t stop the bleeding to squander a 2-1 lead. Starter Noah Syndergaard gave up three runs on five hits and four BB while whiffing nine through 6.1 innings to get the loss while Bartolo Colon and Addison Reed each gave up a run. The offense mustered five hits and scored on solo jacks from Yoenis Cespedes and Michael Conforto. Matt Harvey toes the rubber in game three of the NLDS versus visiting Los Angeles on Monday. Harvey has been his usual stingy self with a 13-8 record and a 2.71 ERA in 29 outings.
