The Los Angeles Angels will look to get their second win of the Series when they face the Oakland A's at the Colliseum on Tuesday.
The Angels will turn to Hector Santiago who was impressive in his debut this season going six innings against Texas giving up just two runs, four hits and managed seven strikeouts in a 4-3 win. Santiago left without a decision but built on his strong spring where he had a 2.89 ERA and was regularly up in the mid 90's with his fast ball. Santiago is the depth that the Angels were hoping for and if he can continue pitching this well then the Angels are going to give themselves chances to win. In Monday night's opening game Mike Trout hit his first home run of the season and pushed his season average above .200 not the type of start expected from a perennial MVP candidate. Trout though will come good, he has too much ability not to. Question marks over the rest of the line up are more difficult to answer Yuniel Escobar aquired via trade with the Washington Nationals is off to a very slow start as is Andrelton Simmons and Albert Pujols has been just terrible thus far. Bright spots in the rotation has been Kole Calhoun who is leading the club with average, on base percentage and hits.

At the Coliseum the Oakland A's just struggle to win. The A's are 1-7 in their last 8 home starts and incredibly have won 4 games this season, 3 of them away from home. It's almost as if the team does not suit their own home field. Kendall Graveman will get the ball on Tuesday the pitcher hasnt won since July '15 and is 1-8 in his last 9 decisions. Graveman pitched well in his opener going 5 and 2/3's giving up just two runs against the White Sox but was again let down by his offence. In Graveman's only complete game of his career against the Los Angeles Angels he gave up just one run but still managed a loss after the A's managed just two hits. The A's problems start at the plate though as the team is batting .229 as a whole. Josh Reddick is the batting average leader with just .280 and their most productive hitter is Jed Lowrie who arrived back from the Houston Astro's in the off season. Lowrie has 8 hits and seven RBI's through 8 games.
Angels are 7-0 last 7 Santiago starts, Angels are 4-1 last 5 , Over is 7-1 last 8,
