The Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs continue their series at Wrigley Field Saturday.
The Atlanta Braves seemed destined to pick up a win against the mighty Cubs when they loaded the bases in the 7th in a 1-1 game. The Braves didn’t score and they paid for it in a 6-1 defeat on Friday. Bravos starter Aaron Blair was superb with a run scored on two hits and three BB but the pen gave up five runs in the 8th including a grand slam. Atlanta mustered seven hits and a pair of free passes with the lone run coming off the bat of Freddie Freeman in the form of his third long ball of the season. Julio Teheran gets the ball Saturday for his 6th start for the Atlanta Braves. Teheran comes off his best outing of the season in a 1-0 loss to visiting Boston with a homer accounting for the only run in seven frames.

Veteran John Lackey toes the rubber against the Atlanta Braves in game two of the series. Lackey was hit hard last time out in a 13-5 loss at Cincinnati with six runs plated on seven hits over 5.2 innings.
