The Los Angeles Dodgers have been difficult to nail down thus far and were difficult to nail down Sunday in a good way as they knocked off Toronto 4-2 when it appeared the Blue Jays had the edge. It all began with LAD starter Ross Stripling who allowed a single run on just a hit over six frames with a trio of relievers finishing the job. The Dodgers totaled eight hits and four walks with Joc Pederson slamming a solo homer while Corey Seager and drove in a run and scored. Left hander Scott Kazmir will get the ball from the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday night. Kazmir is coming off of a 10-5 win at Tampa Bay with four runs were plated on seven hits and nine strikeouts over 6.2 innings.
The Mets are 21-6 in their last 27 Monday games and are 14-5 in their last 19 overall while going 14-5 in their last 19 games on grass. The Dodgers are 3-8 in their last 11 overall and the over is 37-18-4 in their last 59 Monday games. The over is 18-8-2 in the last 28 meetings. Matz isn’t going to keep throwing shutouts so hopefully he is good enough and the offense chips in…
