The Line: Houston Astros +102 / Cleveland Indians -110 --- Over/Under: 8.5 See the Latest Odds

The Cleveland Indians look to build on their victory in Houston last night as they continue their series with the Astros on Wednesday.

The Indians got a big win on the road against the Astros on Tuesday night and will be looking for a follow up tonight as they send Danny Salazar to the mound as the team looks to move two games clear of the .500 mark and stay right in the mix in the AL Central race. Cleveland has a pretty solid roster and a great front end of their rotation with Salazar and Corey Kluber who got the start yesterday and if they can bring in a piece or two at the trade deadline they will certainly be a team to watch out for come playoff time. Salazar is 3-2 with a miniscule 1.91 ERA as he will face off against Doug Fister who will be looking to find his game after starting the year 3-3 with a 4.54 ERA>

Houston Astros vs. Cleveland Indians - 5/11/16 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Astros are coming the league’s biggest disappointments to start the season and while there is tons of baseball left to be played they are in a tough spot right now with the exception of Jose Altuve who is putting up MVP numbers right now. Houston is 13-20 in their first 33 games and have fallen short of preseason expectations as they have the lineup and rotation to compete for an AL pennant but there are some holes that have been identified that need to be filled before they can rejoin the conversation as a World Series favourite.

The Indians are 20-8 in Salazar’s last 28 starts against a team with a losing record, 5-2 in their last seven overall, and 5-1 in their last six Wednesday games while the Astros are 5-1 in their last six against a righty, 4-1 in their last five against the AL Central, and 5-2 in their last seven overall. This is going to be another battle between these two sides but the Indians are playing the better baseball and have the better pitcher going so they should be able to come away with another victory.
