The young rotation of the Cincinnati Reds is still trying to come together and whether that happens is a wait and see scenario. We will have to wait another day as the offense stalled to saddle the Reds with loss number six in a row. Cinci Starter John Lamb did a creditable job with all four runs plated (three earned) on six hits including two long balls through six innings of work. Cincinnati managed four hits and walked three times with Billy Hamilton hitting two singles while Tyler Holt walked twice. The Reds are slated to start Alfredo Simon to the mound who is in need of a big bounce back. Simon comes in off of a 13-1 loss at Cleveland where he was charged with ten runs on 14 hits in 4.1 frames.
The under is 7-1 in Seattle’s last 8 Sunday games and the over is 7-2-2 in their last 11 interleague games while going 7-2-1 in their last 10 on grass. Cincinnati are 1-7 in their last 8 interleague home games and are 7-25 in their last 32 Sunday games while going 7-23 in their last 30 interleague games. Seattle are 8-1 in the last 9 meetings and the under is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings. It’s tough to sweep a team regardless of their struggles but Seattle has a chance to do it….
