In Tuesday MLB action from Oriole Park, we’ve got game one between the Texas Rangers and the Baltimore Orioles on tap.
The Rangers are fresh off a home series against the Royals. Texas won all four of those games, but only one by more than a pair of runs.

As for the Orioles, they just completed a set against the Blue Jays this weekend. Baltimore dropped the first two games but was able to come back for a 6-2 win on Sunday to prevent the sweep.
RHP Yu Darvish will be making the start on Tuesday for the Rangers. In his six starts and 2-2 record this year, Darvish owns a 3.09 ERA with a 1.13 WHIP in 32 innings. Taking a no-decision against the A’s in his last appearance, Darvish put up six innings with four hits and two earned.
Giving the Texas team some offense, we’ve got a few noteworthy names. Ian Desmond leads the way on his 125 hits with 75 runs, 20 homers and 63 RBI. Rougned Odor has put up 111 hits with 64 runs, 21 homers and 54 RBI. Adrian Beltre sits on 106 hits with 54 runs, 16 homers and 65 RBI so far.
Over on the Baltimore side, we’ll be seeing RHP Dylan Bundy in the starting role Tuesday. In 25 games (three starts) and a 3-3 record this year, Bundy holds a 3.46 ERA with a 1.42 WHIP in 52 innings. Bundy took a loss in his last appearance against Colorado with 5.2 innings, two hits and three earned runs.
Baltimore is definitely not hurting for punch at the plate. Manny Machado is way out front on 121 hits with 71 runs, 22 homers and 58 RBI. Jonathan Schoop has put up 114 hits with 57 runs, 17 homers and 59 RBI. Mark Trumbo has put up 111 hits with 58 runs, 30 home runs and 75 RBI.
The Rangers are 15-6 in their last 21 Tuesday games, and 4-10 in their last 14 road games. Texas is also 2-5 in their last seven game ones of a series and 1-4 in their last five games following an off day.
As for the Orioles, they’re 4-1 in their last five games following an off day and 4-1 in their last five games following a win. Baltimore is 1-5 in their last six overall and 42-16 in their last 58 home games.
I don’t think Darvish will be able to do much here against the Baltimore offense, so I’ll take the Orioles.
