The Minnesota Twins continue their road series at the Cleveland Indians Tuesday night.
The Minnesota Twins have definitely improved their quality of play although it’s too late to make a difference. The Twins continued to play well with their offense leading the way to a 12-5 victory at Cleveland on Monday. Minnesota starter Jose Berrios picked up the win with three runs scored on four hits over six frames. The Twins amassed 19 hits and four walks with Joe Mauer going solo and scoring four times with Eddie Rosario also going solo while Max Kepler homered three times and drove in six. Kyle Gibson is slated to oppose the Indians for the second time in 2016 on Tuesday. Gibson comes off of a 6-2 win versus Baltimore with both runs allowed on nine hits over six innings.

The Cleveland Indians are looking to stretch their lead in the American League Central with a win Tuesday.. The Indians saw their three game winning streak end with a bang Monday as their pitching was hit hard. Tribe starter Danny Salazar was charged with six runs on six hits including three homers through two innings while four different relievers gave up runs. Cleveland totaled six hits and a base on balls with Mike Napoli going deep and knocking in two while scoring twice followed by a two run double from Lonnie Chisenhall. Carlos Carrasco toes the rubber against visiting Minnesota looking to continue his consistent work on the mound. Carrasco is 7-4 on the season in 15 starts with a 1.03 WHIP and 2.45 ERA.
The over is 10-4 in Minnesota’s last 14 Tuesday games and is 58-28-6 in their last 92 overall while going 58-28-6 in their last 92 on grass. Cleveland are 18-5 in their last 23 home games and the over is 16-4-1 in Carrasco’s last 21 home starts while the Indians are 6-2 in Carrasco’s last 8 starts. The over is 10-3 in the last 13 meetings in Cleveland and the Indians are 3-7 in Carrasco’s last 10 starts versus the Twins. For some reason the Twins play Cleveland tough but I’d still go with the Tribe…
