Over at Oriole Park on Saturday, the New York Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles will be picking up their MLB series once again.
This will be game two of the set. On Friday, the Orioles dominated in an 8-0 win.

The Yankees will be going with lefty CC Sabathia on Saturday. Over 24 starts and an 8-11 record, Sabathia owns a 4.31 ERA with a 1.35 WHIP in 144 innings. Against Baltimore his last time out, Sabathia gave up six hits and three runs in 6.2 innings for a loss.
You don’t have to look too far for the key hitters in the New York lineup. Starlin Castro holds 135 hits with 57 runs and 64 RBI. Didi Gregorius has hit 133 times with 60 runs and 61 RBI. Jacoby Ellsbury sits on 122 hits with 58 runs and 46 RBI.
As for the Orioles, we’ll be seeing RHP Kevin Gausman in the start Saturday. Over 24 starts and a 6-10 record this year, Gausman has a 3.73 ERA and a 1.31 WHIP in 140 innings total. Gaussian got a win in his last appearance against the Yankees, going seven innings with seven hits and no earned.
Baltimore has some great hitters as well. Manny Machado sits on 161 hits with 94 runs, 33 homers and 85 RBI. Jonathan Schoop has hit 142 times with 71 runs, 21 homers and 70 RBI. Adam Jones has hit 139 times with 75 runs, 24 homers and 75 RBI.
The Yankees are 4-0 in their last four game twos of a series, and 4-0 in Sabathia’s last four road starts. New York is also 9-3 in Sabathia’s last 12 starts with five days’ rest, and 4-9 in Sabathia’s last 13 Saturday starts.
Meanwhile, the Orioles are 7-3 in their last 10 home games versus a left-handed starter, and 2-6 in their last eight games overall versus a left-handed starter. Baltimore is also 0-5 in their last five Saturday games and 6-0 in Gausman’s last six home starts.
I feel like Sabathia will be able to keep things close, and with Gausman on the other side this looks like a nice spot for the under. I’ll give New York a slight winning edge as well.
