Chicago ace Chris Sale was outstanding with a pair of runs allowed through eight innings before Chris Beck surrendered a three run jack in the 11th. The CWS pounded out ten hits and walked twice with Alex Avilia going solo while Avisail Garcia went 3-5 with an RBI and run. Miguel Gonzalez comes off the disabled list to oppose the Tigers for the second time on the year. Overall, Gonzalez has built a 2-6 record in 18 starts with a 1.33 WHIP and 4.05 ERA.
