The San Francisco Giants visit Chase Field to face the Arizona Diamondbacks Friday.

The San Francisco Giants just keep fading and the postseason is no guarantee. The Giants have dropped three of four after a 6-5 defeat at Coors Field. Late inning relief did SF in with starter Albert Suarez allowing three runs on six hits including two homers over five frames before Santiago Casilla and Joe Nathan giving up a combined three runs in the bottom of the 9th. San Francisco pounded out 13 hits and walked twice with Gorkys Hernandez going deep and scoring twice with Brandon Belt going deep  and driving in two. Left hander Madison Bumgarner takes the mound at the Diamondbacks for the third time this year. Bumgarner comes off a 3-2 win at the Cubs with both runs plated over six frames.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Francisco Giants - 9/9/16 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Arizona Diamondbacks need to figure out what changes need to be made to improve the team for next year. The Diamondbacks have dropped three in a row after a 3-1 loss at the Dodgers on Wednesday. Zona starter Robbie Ray fell to 7-13 with all three runs scoring on two hits and four BB through six innings. The D-Backs managed seven hits and five walks with Paul Goldschmidt doubling in AJ Pollock with the lone run. Rookie Braden Shipley makes his 9th start of the year and first ever versus San Francisco. Shipley comes off of a 9-4 win at Colorado with all four runs plated on eight hits including two homers in 5.2 frames.

The under is 7-1 in San Francisco’s last 8 Friday games and  is 12-3-1 in their last 16 overall while going  12-3-1 in their last 16 on grass. The over is 23-5 in Arizona last 28 home games and Arizona  are 2-8 in their last 10 Friday games and the over is 21-8 in their last 29 Friday games. San Francisco are 10-2 in the last 12 meetings and are 30-10 in the last 40 meetings in Arizona. The Giants need a win so I’ll back one of the best…
