The San Francisco Giants visit Chase Field to face the Arizona Diamondbacks Friday.
The San Francisco Giants just keep fading and the postseason is no guarantee. The Giants have dropped three of four after a 6-5 defeat at Coors Field. Late inning relief did SF in with starter Albert Suarez allowing three runs on six hits including two homers over five frames before Santiago Casilla and Joe Nathan giving up a combined three runs in the bottom of the 9th. San Francisco pounded out 13 hits and walked twice with Gorkys Hernandez going deep and scoring twice with Brandon Belt going deep and driving in two. Left hander Madison Bumgarner takes the mound at the Diamondbacks for the third time this year. Bumgarner comes off a 3-2 win at the Cubs with both runs plated over six frames.

Rookie Braden Shipley makes his 9th start of the year and first ever versus San Francisco. Shipley comes off of a 9-4 win at Colorado with all four runs plated on eight hits including two homers in 5.2 frames.
