Miami amassed 17 hits and walked twice with Martin Prado knocking in two while Derek Dietrich drove in a run and scored followed by Ichiro Suzuki recorded an RBI and scored twice. Rookie Jake Esch toes the rubber for the third time when he opposes Atlanta on Tuesday night. In two starts, Esch has gone 0-1 with a 1.61 WHIP and 4.82 ERA over 9.1 innings.

The Atlanta Braves have struggled this week but they have shown they can suddenly get hot without notice. That was the case Monday with the offense exploding to overcome struggling pitching. Braves starter Mike Foltynewicz was charged with five runs on eleven hits through 3.2 frames before the bullpen restored order. Atlanta banged out 17 hits and walked five times with Nick Markakis going deep and driving in two and scoring three while Tyler Flowers drove in four as every starter reached base. The Braves have scheduled Matt Wisler to face the Marlins for the second time in 2016. Wisler has won back to back games with a run allowed in each on six hits and six BB in 14 frames.
