Pitching for the Indians on Wednesday will be RHP Zach McAllister. In his 52 games and one start this year, McAllister owns a 3-2 record with a 3.58 ERA and a 1.47 WHIP in 50.1 innings. McAllister’s last appearance lasted 0.2 innings with one hit and one unearned run.
Cleveland has a few interesting hitters in their order. Francisco Lindor has put up 179 hits with 96 runs and 72 RBI. Jose Ramirez sits on 172 hits with 84 runs and 75 RBI. Jason Kipnis has bagged 164 hits with 90 runs, 23 homers and 81 RBI.
Over on the Tigers’ side, we’ll be seeing RHP Michael Fulmer in the start Wednesday. In his 25 games and 11-7 record this year, Fulmer holds a 2.95 ERA with a 1.09 WHIP in 155.2 innings. In a win over the Royals his last time out, Fulmer put up seven innings with eight hits and one earned.
Detroit also has some interesting bats in their order as well. Miguel Cabrera holds 180 hits with 88 runs, 35 homers and 102 RBI. Ian Kinsler sits on 174 hits, 114 runs, 26 homers and 79 RBI.
The Indians are 4-0 in their last four Wednesday games, and 6-2 in their last eight game threes of a series. Cleveland is also 5-1 in McAllister’s last six Wednesday starts, and 1-6 in McAllister’s last seven road starts.
As for the Tigers, they’re 7-0 in Fulmer’s last seven starts in game three of a series, and 5-0 in Fulmer’s last five Wednesday starts. Detroit is also 7-2 in Fulmer’s last nine home starts, and 17-6 in Fulmer’s last 23 starts.
Fuller has been pretty impressive on the mound lately, so I’ll take him and the Tigers to get the victory in this game.
