Texas starter Yu Darvish allowed all three runs on three solo homers while striking out 12 over eight frames with Alex Claudio getting the win on two scoreless innings. The Rangers totaled seven hits and three BB with Shin-Soo Choo smacking a two run bomb while Elvis Andrus went deep, and drove in three. The Texas Rangers give Saturday’s starting assignment at the Tampa Bay Rays to Andrew Cashner. Cashner comes off of a 3-1 loss at the Baltimore Orioles where he was charged with all three runs on six hits and a pair of bases on balls in 6.2 frames.
