Texas Rangers vs. Seattle Mariners - 7/31/17 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Texas Rangers have had some trouble stringing together wins and that can’t happen if the team wants a Wild Card. The Rangers hot streak will wait another day to start following a 10-6 loss to visiting Baltimore on Sunday. Texas starter Martin Perez was hit hard with eight runs given up on nine hits and a pair of bases on balls through 4.1 innings pitched to fall to 5-9. The Rangers logged seven hits and three walks with Nomar Mazara going deep and scoring two times while Rougned Odor went deep twice and knocked in five followed by Adrian Beltre with a pair of runs. The Texas Rangers kick off their series versus the Seattle Mariners with left hander Cole Hamels on the bump. Hamels comes in off of a 10-4 victory versus the Miami Marlins where he was charged with four runs on six hits and two BB  over six frames.

Seattle are 8-1 in their last 9 Monday games and the under is 6-2 in Seattle last 8 road games while the under is 8-3-2 in Seattle last 13 Monday games. Texas are 2-8 in their last 10 games on grass and the under is 6-2-1 in Texas last 9 home games while the over is 7-1-2 in Hamels' last 10 home starts. Seattle are 1-8 in the last 9 meetings in Texas and Seattle are 7-2 in Hernandez’s last 9 starts versus Texas.

Hamel does well at home which is a slight advantage in an even match up…
