The Atlanta Braves have been struggling the past few weeks and their goal of reaching .500 has been getting further away. The Braves had lost nine of ten before downing the Dodgers Wednesday night with great pitching and some late offense carrying the day. Bravos starter Julio Teheran gave up all three runs on four hits through five innings pitched before four relievers held the Dodgers off the scoreboard. Atlanta totaled nine hits and six bases on balls with Tyler Flowers and Danny Santana clubbing two run bombs. Rookie Sean Newcomb toes the rubber for the Atlanta Braves in Thursday’s match up with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Newcomb comes off of a no decision in a 4-3 loss at the Philadelphia Phillies where he allowed a run on just two hits and three BB in five frames.
Los Angeles are 42-9 in their last 51 overall and Los Angeles are 42-9 in their last 51 games on grass while the over is 17-6-3 in Los Angeles last 26 Thursday games. The over is 9-4 in Atlanta last 13 overall and the over is 9-4 in Atlanta last 13 on grass. Los Angeles are 19-7 in the last 26 meetings.
I think this line is stupid but I think it’s Los Angeles or walk away as I can’t advocate betting enormous road chalk…
