The Miami Marlins still have a shot at a winning record but time won’t be on their side much longer. The Marlins have been heading in the right direction with Monday’s victory against the visiting Giants giving the team four consecutive wins. Both the pitching and hitting contributed with Fish starter Adam Conley giving up all three runs on six hits and three free passes through 6.1 innings of work. Miami pounded out eleven hits and walked five times with Marcell Ozuna going solo and scoring twice while Giancarlo Stanton went deep and drove in three. The Miami Marlins are slated to send Dan Straily to the bump for Tuesday’s start versus the visiting San Francisco Giants. Straily comes off a 3-2 (ND) loss at the Washington Nationals with a pair of runs scoring on four hits and a BB in 5.2 frames.
The under is 8-3-1 in San Francisco last 12 Tuesday games and San Francisco are 8-21 in their last 29 overall while San Francisco are 8-21 in their last 29 games on grass. The over is 6-0-2 in Miami last 8 Tuesday games while Miami are 14-6 in their last 20 home games. The over is 7-2 in the last 9 meetings and the over is 12-4 in the last 16 meetings in Miami.
The Marlins have won a few and San Francisco has lost a few so I’ll take a shot with Miami at plus money…
