For the Sunday game, the Rays will be bringing out RHP Matt Andriese for the start. In his 64.0 innings and 5-1 record this year, Andriese has a 3.38 ERA with 55 Ks and 22 BBs.

Tampa Bay has some solid bats this season. Corey Dickerson came into the weekend with 148 hits, 75 runs, 25 homers and 58 RBI while Evan Longoria had 137 hits, 63 runs, 17 homers and 72 RBI. Longoria and Dickerson combined to go 0-for-6 with an RBI on Saturday.

Over on the White Sox side, they’re going with RHP Lucas Giolito on Sunday. In his 13.0 innings and 1-1 record this year, Giolito has a 2.77 ERA with eight Ks.

Chicago has some big bats as well. Jose Abreu entered the weekend on 156 hits, 77 runs, 26 homers and 80 RBI while Avisail Garcia had 134 hits, 58 runs, 13 homers and 62 RBI. Abreu is out with an injury; Garcia posted three hits, two RBI and a run on Saturday.

The Rays are 4-0 in the last four during game three of a series and 4-1 in their last five Sunday games. Tampa Bay is also 1-4 in Andriese’s last five road starts and 1-4 in Andriese’s last five starts versus a team with a winning record.

Meanwhile, the White Sox are 4-9 in their last 13 Sunday games and 17-40 in their last 57 during game three of a series. The under is 5-1 in the Sox’ last six Sunday games and 7-2 in the Sox’ last nine during game three of a series.

Andriese had a couple of sketchy starts back in June, then came back for a relief appearance of 3.0 innings with one hit and no earned in KC. As for Giolito, he bagged a win over the Tigers in seven scoreless innings during his last appearance. There are a lot of unknowns in the pitching matchup here, but I like Giolito to come out strong and help the Sox bag a win.
