The Washington Nationals are heading towards the postseason and the only question will be whether the team is 100% healthy. The Nationals have been surging a bit with five consecutive victories following Friday night’s win. The Nats struggled on the mound but did plenty at the plate. Washington starter Max Scherzer was charged with four runs on six hits and a trio of BB over six innings pitched while Oliver Perez and Shawn Kelley each allowed three runs. The Nationals amassed 16 hits and three walks with Trea Turner and Michael Turner combining for seven hits including a long ball each along with eight RBI’s and four runs. The Washington Nationals will send Edwin Jackson to the mound to oppose the Philadelphia Phillies in game three of their series on Saturday.

The under is 17-6-5 in Washington last 28 overall and the under is 17-6-5 in Washington last 28 on grass while the under is 5-2-1 in Jackson’s last 8 home starts. Philadelphia are 2-8 in the last 10 meetings in Washington and the under is 13-6-1 in the last 20 meetings.
I’m a Philadelphia and all I know is when this team scores ten runs they have to win because runs have been scarce. I’ll back the Washington and hope I’m wrong…
