Miami Marlins vs. Atlanta Braves - 9/30/17 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Miami Marlins head in to the final two games of the year playing well and are hoping to continue on Saturday. The Marlins overcame a shaky start on the mound with the bullpen saving the day in Friday night's comeback win. Fish starter Dan Straily was hit hard with all five runs given up on six hits and four bases on balls over three innings while seven relievers kept the Braves offense from doing any more damage. Miami posted ten hits an a trio of walks with Justin Bour smacking a two run single while Marcell Ozuna went 2-3 with three RBI’s and a run followed by Giancarlo Stanton with two runs and an RBI.  The Miami Marlins have scheduled Odrisamr Despaigne as Saturday’s starter versus the visiting Atlanta Braves. Despaigne comes off of consecutive quality starts where he gave up a combined five runs on 13 hits through 12 innings.

The over is 6-1-1 in Atlanta last 8 Saturday games. The over is 5-2-1 in Miami last 8 home games and Miami are 9-21 in their last 30 overall while Miami are 9-21 in their last 30 games on grass. Atlanta are 7-3 in the last 10 meetings and Atlanta are 41-19 in the last 60 meetings in Miami.

The Braves have been looking bad and Miami has done well. Atlanta has the better pitcher but I’m just looking at the better odds more then anything…
