The San Francisco Giants have struggled throughout 2017 as the team never found any type of spark. The Giants have dropped three of four following a 4-3 loss at the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday. The offense and bullpen struggled with SF starter Jeff Samardzija allowing a run on three hits and a walk over six innings before Sam Dyson gave up three runs in the 9th for a BS and loss. San Francisco mustered six hits and walked twice with Pablo Sandoval going 2-4 with two runs driven in while Denard Span went 3-4 and scored twice. The San Francisco Giants have scheduled Chris Stratton as Friday’s starter versus the visiting San Diego Padres. Stratton comes in off of a 3-1 defeat at the Los Angeles Dodgers where he gave up all three runs on five hits and a pair of walks over four frames.
San Diego are 3-7 in their last 10 games following a loss and San Diego are 27-57 in their last 84 road games. The under is 9-3 in San Francisco last 12 overall while the under is 9-3 in San Francisco last 12 on grass. San Diego are 19-7 in the last 26 meetings.
I believe this is a winnable game for San Francisco but for the life of me I can’t put money on them…
