The Line: New York Yankees -102 / Cleveland Indians -108 --- Over/Under: 8 See the Latest Odds

MLB visits the Big Apple Sunday when the New York Yankees host the Cleveland Indians in game three of the ALDS.

The Cleveland Indians are probably breathing a sigh of relief following Friday’s 9-8, 13 inning victory in game two the ALDS to take a 2-0 series lead. The Indians rallied  from an 8-3 hole as the offense and the bullpen saved the day. Tribe starter Corey Kluber was hit hard with six runs given up on seven hits including two homers while Mike Clevinger allowed two more before five relievers tossed 8.2 scoreless frames. Cleveland logged nine hits and walked five times with Jay Bruce going solo while Francisco Lindor went deep, drove in four and scored twice followed by Carlos Santana with two RBI’s and a run.  Sunday’s game three start versus the New York Yankees goes to right hander Carlos Carrasco. Carrasco looks to continue an outstanding season where he has gone 18-6 with a 3.28 ERA.

The New York Yankees are staring at 0-2 deficit in the ALDS as the team blew a sizeable lead in game two on the way to an extra inning defeat. Yankees starter CC Sabathia was charged with four runs (two earned) on three hits and three free passes through 5.1 innings before Chad Green allowed three runs in 1/3 of an inning. Delin Betances gave up a run in the 13th  to absorb the loss for the loss for the Yanks. New York totaled eleven hits and walked five times with Gary Sanchez, Greg Bird and Aaron Hicks each going deep and combining for seven RBI’s and five runs on six hits. Masahiro Tanaka toes the rubber for the New York Yankees against the Cleveland Indians in game three of the ALDS. Tanaka  has  gone 13-12  overall with a  4.76 ERA.

No trends have been released so please check back.

The Yankees certainly have a decent chance at getting a win but at this price I'll side with the red hot Indians...
