Tuesday MLB action brings us to Camden Yards where the Baltimore Orioles host the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Toronto Blue Jays rode strong pitching and some late offense to a 7-1 win at Baltimore on Monday. Toronto starter JA Happ allowed a run over six frames and struck out nine with three relievers tossing scoreless baseball.

The Blue Jays totaled ten hits and walked five times with Josh Donaldson clubbing a 9th inning grand slam with Steve Pearce smacking a two run bomb. Aaron Sanchez draws Tuesday’s starting assignment at the Baltimore Orioles. Sanchez did not get a decision in a 4-3 loss to the White Sox where he allowed three runs and struck out seven in six innings.
The Baltimore Orioles never got their bats going and the work on the mound faded in the series opening loss to the visiting Blue Jays. Baltimore starter Dylan Bundy served up a two run homer and struck out ten over seven innings before Mychal Givens and Nestor Cortes Jr. allowing five runs in the 9th with four plated on a grand slam.
The Orioles managed nine hits and three free passes with Manny Machado going 2-4 with a solo home run while Trey Mancini was 3-4 with a walk. Andrew Cashner makes his third start for Baltimore against the rival Blue Jays on Tuesday. Cashner defeated the Yankees 5-2 last time out with a run scored on two hits over six frames.
Toronto are 6-2 in their last 8 overall and under is 9-4 in Toronto last 13 overall. Baltimore are 8-25 in their last 33 overall and Baltimore are 7-20 in their last 27 games on grass and Baltimore are 3-8 in their last 11 home games. Under is 22-4-1 in the last 27 meetings.
I have to see what Cashner does over a few more starts to have an idea off where he is going but I’ll back him at plus odds…
