The Brewers totaled ten hits and walked twice with Ryan Braun and  Hernan Perez going deep and driving in two while Travis Shaw clubbed a solo bomb.

Milwaukee sends Chase Anderson to the bump at Citi Field in search of his first win. Anderson threw the ball well in a 3-0 defeat to the Cubs with a pair of runs given up on four hits in six innings.

The New York Mets have been getting the job done so far and it was the offense that carried the team on Friday. New York starter Steven Matz picked up the win with four runs allowed (three earned)  on three hits and two walks over 5.1 frames.

The Mets offense did their damage on nine hits and three walks with Todd Frazier leading the way with a pair of long balls while Jay Bruce drove in a run and scored followed by Asdrubal Cabrera with two runs.

Matt Harvey gets the ball against the visiting Brewers looking for his first victory of 2018. Harvey did not receive a decision in a 6-5 win at Washington last time out with four runs plated on nine hits over five frames.

Under is 55-25-3 in Milwaukee last 83 overall and under is 52-25-3 in Milwaukee last 80 on grass and under is 7-1 in Anderson’s last 8 road starts. NY Mets  are 7-1 in their last 8 home games and are 14-3 in their last 17 overall and are 14-3 in their last 17 games on grass. Milwaukee  are 2-7 in the last 9 meetings in New York and are 7-2 in the last 9 meetings.

The Mets might be tough to go against now but Anderson is capable and Harvey looks susceptible…
