Miller Park and the Milwaukee Brewers welcome the NL Central rival Cincinnati Reds to town for Monday MLB action.
The Cincinnati Reds have had issues throughout the early going and those issues continued in a 3-2 loss versus the Cardinals on Sunday. In the process, a strong effort on the mound from Homer Bailey went for naught as allowed all three runs on four hits and two BB in seven frames.

The Reds logged five hits and four bases on balls with Billy Hamilton and Adam Duvall accounting for the scoring with solo home runs. Luis Castillo draws his 4th start of the season in the series opener at Milwaukee. Castillo did not get a decision in a 4-3 loss at Philadelphia with three runs plated on five hits in six innings.
The Milwaukee Brewers have not been able to string wins together as the team is still trying to establish momentum. Milwaukee comes off of a 3-2 defeat at the NY Mets where starter Jhoulys Chacin gave up a run on five hits and three walks n four frames with Matt Albers serving up a solo jack in the 9th to get the loss.
The Brewers were limited to four hits and five free passes with Jesus Aguilar and Lorenzo Cain scoring unearned runs. Brent Suter looks to get back in the win column when he takes the mound versus Cincinnati. Suter comes in off of a 5-3 loss (ND) at St. Louis where he gave up a run through 5.1 frames.
Cincinnati are 23-53 in their last 76 road games and are 17-36 in their last 53 overall and are 17-36 in their last 53 games on grass. Under is 7-2-1 in Milwaukee last 10 Monday games and Milwaukee are 3-10 in their last 13 Monday games and under is 34-15-2 in Milwaukee last 51 home games.
I think Castillo has a huge upside but with that being said I’d do something small on the Brewers who have potential of their own…
