The Washington Nationals visit the New York Mets in a MLB tilt on Monday night.

The Nationals did their damage on five hits and ten walks with Bryce Harper and Matt Wieters slugging solo bombs while Michael Taylor wen 2-3 with a pair of doubles and two runs. Left hander Gio Gonzalez toes the rubber against the Mets for the second time in 2018. Gonzalez comes off of a 5-1 loss versus Colorado with three runs allowed (two earned) on five hits and three BB through five frames.
The New York Mets have been the hottest team in the game to begin the season and rebounded from their second defeat with a 3-2 victory versus Milwaukee on Sunday. New York starter Noah Syndergaard allowed an unearned run through 5.1 frames with Robert Gsellman getting a BS with another unearned run scoring.
