Comerica Park and the Detroit Tigers welcome the Baltimore Orioles to town in an MLB tilt.
The Baltimore Orioles have started 2018 slow and it didn’t get any better Tuesday in a 4-2 loss at Detroit. Baltimore starter Andrew Cashner took the loss with three runs allowed on seven hits and three bases on balls through six innings.

The Orioles were limited to six hits and five walks with Trey Mancini smacking his second homer while Adam Jones went 2-4 with an RBI single that plated Craig Gentry.
The Orioles have named Kevin Gausman as Wednesday’s starter at the Tigers. Gausman did not receive a decision in a 5-3 win versus the Blue Jays with three runs scoring on six hits and three BB in six innings.
The Detroit Tigers are looking to turn their season around and are hoping Tuesday’s win is the start. Detroit starter Francisco Liriano gave up both runs on five hits and a pair of BB with four relievers tossing shutout baseball.
The Tigers totaled nine hits and five walks with Victor Martinez leading the way with a homer and a pair of RBI’s. Jeimer Candelario gave Detroit another RBI while Leonys Martin and Victor Reyes scored.
Matthew Boyd toes the rubber versus visiting Baltimore for his third career matchup with the Orioles. Boyd has allowed two runs in two starts covering 13 innings.
