The Phillies Mustered six hits and walked four times with Velasquez and Aaron Altherr recording RBI’s as the surging offense was held in check. Pittsburgh are 9-2 in their last 11 road games and under is 20-6-2 in Pittsburgh last 28 Thursday games and Pittsburgh are 13-6 in their last 19 overall. Philadelphia are 7-1 in their last 8 overall and are 3-8 in their last 11 Thursday games. Pittsburgh are 20-8 in the last 28 meetings.
Both teams have been playing well so this should be a good game to watch. I think the Pirates are capable on the mound and at the plate so I’ll back them…
