Sunday MLB action gives us the Miami Marlins taking the field with the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park.
The Miami Marlins need a reversal in fortune to overcome a slow start and stay afloat in the NL East. Miami will be looking to bounce back from a 6-5 loss at Milwaukee where starter Jose Urena allowed four runs in five frames with Kyle Barraclough allowing a run in the 8th while Junichi Tazawa serving up a 9th inning homer.

The Marlins posted nine hits with Derek Dietrich smacking a solo bomb while Lewis Brinson smacked a three run homer. Caleb Smith looks to get his first win of 2018 when he takes the mound at Milwaukee. Smith was hit hard in a 12-1 loss at the NY Yankees with five runs plated on five hits and three BB in 2.1 frames.
The Milwaukee Brewers are hoping a solid start to 2018 continues after the team rallied past Miami behind a few late runs. Milwaukee starter Brent Suter was charged with all five runs on eight hits through five innings with four relievers tossing a scoreless inning each.
The Brewers attack consisted of seven hits and four bases on balls Jesus Aguilar going solo while Travis Shaw homered and scored three times. Junior Guerra shoots for consecutive victories when he toes he rubber versus the Marlins. Guerra comes in off of a 2-0 win against Cincinnati where he tossed a one hit shutout over 5.2 innings.
Miami are 2-6 in their last 8 Sunday games and are 7-19 in their last 26 road games and are 16-36 in their last 52 overall. Under is 16-5 in Milwaukee last 21 Sunday games and under is 35-15-2 in Milwaukee last 52 home games and Milwaukee are 7-3 in their last 10 Sunday games. Over is 40-19-3 in the last 62 meetings.
I can see this being a shootout or a Milwaukee win if Guerra can stay in the strike zone…
