The Seattle Mariners have won back to back games following a 4-3 win at the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday. Seattle starter Felix Hernandez improved to 3-2 with all three runs given up on seven hits and two BB over six innings with three relievers tossing scoreless baseball.

The Mariners totaled eight hits and six bases on balls with Mike Zunino cracking a solo homer and scoring twice. Nelson Cruz gave Seattle three hits and a pair of RBI’s while Jean Segura went 2-5 with an RBI and run.
Seattle opens their series at Cleveland on Thursday with left hander James Paxton on the bump. Paxton comes off of a 9-7 win (ND) at Texas with five runs allowed on six hits and three BB in four innings.
The Cleveland Indians have tremendous potential on the mound and at the plate and it was the pitching that stood out Wednesday in a 4-1 win versus the Chicago Cubs. Cleveland starter Trevor Bauer allowed the loner run over 6.2 frames to even his record at 2-2.
