The Brewers were limited to four hits and four free passes with Christian Yelich and Jesus Aguilar each smacking sacrifice fly’s that plated Lorenzo Cain and Eric Sogard. Junior Guerra will be on the hill to oppose the NL Central rival Cubs on Saturday. Guerra defeated Miami 4-2 last time out with an unearned run scoring on five hits in five frames.
The Chicago Cubs will be gunning for another win versus the rival Brewers after Friday’s tight victory. Chicago turned to their pitching and starter Yu Darvish allowed an unearned run in the first before striking out eight over six frames for a ND when Steve Cishek allowed a 7th inning run.
The Cubs attack consisted of seven hits and a base on balls with Javier Baez driving in two and scoring. Chicago received an RBI from Anthony Rizzo while Albert Almora Jr. and Addison Russell scored.
Left hander Jose Quintana draws his second start of 2018 against Milwaukee on Saturday. Quintana was a 9-7 winner at Colorado last time out with four runs plated on eight hits in 5.1 innings.
