MLB action comes to Target Field where the Minnesota Twins host the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday.
The Toronto Blue Jays rode a three run 10th to a 7-4 victory at Target Field on Tuesday. Toronto starter Marco Estrada was charged with all four runs over five frames before five relievers toss an inning of shutout baseball.

The Blue Jays banged out ten hits and walked seven times with Kendrys Morales smacking a pair of solo bombs while Justin Smoak drove in a run and scored followed by Luke Maile with a pair of runs.
Toronto is hoping Marcus Stroman rights the ship when he faces Minnesota on the road Wednesday. Stroman comes off of a 6-4 loss versus Texas with all six runs plated on eight hits over 5.1 frames.
The Minnesota Twins have struggled early on in 2018 and those struggles continued in Tuesday’s extra inning loss to visiting Toronto. Minnesota starter Kyle Gibson gave up a pair of runs over five frames with John Curtiss absorbing the loss with three runs plated in the 10th.
The Twins offense consisted of eight hits and a base on balls with Eddie Rosario leading the way with a pair of hits with a homers and three RBI’s while Joe Mauer connected on a solo jack.
Minnesota sends Fernando Romero to the bump on Wednesday to make his first career start. Romero made four appearances for AAA Rochester where he went 0-1 with a 2.57 ERA.
Toronto are 1-8 in their last 9 Wednesday games and over is 5-2-1 in Stroman’s last 8 road starts. Minnesota are 1-10 in their last 11 overall and over is 7-1 in Minnesota last 8 vs. American League East and Minnesota are 1-7 in their last 8 games on grass. Toronto are 52-21 in the last 73 meetings.
The wild card is Romero and I don’t have a clue of what we’ll see from him so something small on Stroman and the Jays…
