Tuesday MLB action features an interleague bout between the Cleveland Indians and the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park.
The Cleveland Indians have not looked like the favorite to win the AL Central crown yet although the season is still young. Cleveland was swept in a three game set at the Yankees after a 7-4 loss on Sunday. Indians starter Mike Clevinger allowed two runs on one hit and four BB while striking out ten in 7.1 frames with Cody Allen and Dan Otero giving up a combined five runs.

The Tribe did their damage on four hits and a pair of walks with Francisco Lindor and Tyler Naquin each driving in a run and scoring. Cleveland gives Tuesday’s start at Miller Park to a red hot Corey Kluber who has won five straight. Kluber comes off of a 12-4 victory versus the Rangers with three runs plated on three solo homers in seven frames.
The Milwaukee Brewers have been looking for consistency in the early going and are still looking after dropping a 9-0 decision to visiting Pittsburgh on Sunday. Milwaukee starter Chase Anderson gave up five runs on five hits and two BB over 5.1 frames while Jacob Burns and Jorge Lopez allowed two runs each.
The Brewers managed two hits and a pair of bases on balls with Domingo Santana recording a single and walk. Veteran left hander Wade Miley toes the rubber for his second start of the 2018 campaign. Miley won his season debut 3-1 at Cincinnati with the lone run plated on three hits and three BB over six innings.
Over is 13-3 in Cleveland last 16 on grass and over is 13-3 in Cleveland last 16 overall and Cleveland are 7-18 in their last 25 interleague games. Milwaukee are 7-1 in their last 8 Tuesday games and Milwaukee are 7-2 in their last 9 home games and under is 16-5-1 in Milwaukee last 22 interleague games. Cleveland are 3-8 in the last 11 meetings.
Miley looked great in his debut but he struggled in Baltimore in 2017 so perhaps something on Kluber and the Indians…
