Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

For the Saturday game, the Brewers will be going with RHP Chase Anderson in the start. Over 45.1 innings and a 3-3 record this year, Anderson has a 3.97 ERA with 30 Ks and 16 BBs.

Tops in hitting for the Brewers entering Friday was Lorenzo Cain with 36 hits, 21 runs, five homers and 12 RBI. On Friday, Cain had two hits, two runs and an RBI.

As for the Rockies, they’re rolling with Kyle Freeland on Saturday. Across 41.0 innings and a 2-4 record this year, Freeland has a 3.95 ERA with 38 Ks and 13 walks.

Heading into game two, Nolan Arenado led the Rockies on 37 hits, 19 runs, eight homers and 21 RBI. On Friday, Arenado had a hit, a run and an RBI.

The Brewers are 6-1 in Anderson’s last seven road starts and 9-4 in his last 13 starts. The under is 4-1 in Milwaukee’s last five Saturday games and 33-15-3 in their last 51 during game three of a series.

Meanwhile, the Rockies are 1-5 in Freeland’s last six home starts and 1-6 in his last seven versus the NL Central. Colorado is also 1-5 in Freeland’s last six starts in game three of a series and 1-4 in his last four starts versus a team with a winning record.

It’s been a rough couple of starts for Anderson, who has given up nine earned on 11 hits over 10.2 innings in his last two. Freeland has fared better lately, with five earned over his last three starts, each going 7.0 innings. I’m going to stick with Freeland to keep it going here and drive the Rockies toward a win.
