The Milwaukee Brewers and the Colorado Rockies duke it out in the finale of their four game set from Coors Field in MLB action on Sunday afternoon.

The Milwaukee Brewers will look to win the series after dropping game three on Saturday by a final score of 4-0. Starting pitcher Brent Suter put up a double, while Lorenzo Cain, Jesus Aguilar, Domingo Santana and Hernan Perez each added base hits to round out the offense for the Brewers as Milwaukee racked up just five hits as a team in the loss. Suter took the loss, falling to 2-3 this season after allowing all four runs on seven hits over five innings of work. Freddy Peralta will be making his major league debut in the series finale and was 5-1 with a 3.63 ERA and 46 strikeouts in AAA this season.

The Colorado Rockies will look to salvage a series split with the Brewers after taking game three on Saturday. Trevor Story accounted for all four Colorado runs, going 3 for 3 with a pair of home runs and a double. Nolan Arenado and Chris Iannetta each went 2 for 4 with a double, while Gerardo Parra and starting pitcher Kyle Freeland each added base hits as well in the victory. Freeland picked up the win after tossing 6.1 shutout innings, allowing four hits while striking out six over 6.1 innings of work. Jon Gray will start game four and is 4-4 with a 4.24 ERA and 49 strikeouts this season. In his career, Gray is 0-0 with a 6.30 ERA and 17 strikeouts against Milwaukee.

Milwaukee is 7-1 in their last 8 games against the NL West and 5-1 in their last 6 road games while the under is 72-33-5 in their last 110 games overall. Colorado is 9-4 in Gray’s last 13 home starts and 4-12 in their last 16 home games against a team with a winning record while the the under is 6-1 in their last 7 games overall. Milwaukee is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings between these two teams and 4-1 in the last 5 meetings between these two teams in Colorado.

Who knows what we’re going to see from Peralta in his MLB debut and if I were to debut, I can tell you that one place I wouldn’t want to do it is Colorado. The air is thin, making it hard to breathe and the ball tends to fly in that park. However, I’m also not laying juice with the Rockies here as I’m just not comfortable backing Gray on the mound, especially with a career ERA over six against the Brewers. Instead, I’m going to side with the over as I see both offenses waking up in this one.
