The Los Angeles Angels have been in a funk and couldn’t snap out of it in a 5-3 defeat at Toronto for their 5th loss in six games. Los Angeles starter Garrett Richards was charged with all five runs (one earned) in the first before finishing with five innings pitched.

The Angels attack consisted of four hits and three free passes with Ian Kinsler, Albert Pujols and Andrelton Simmons driving in runs. Tyler Skaggs draws the Wednesday start from the LA Angels against the Blue Jays. Skaggs dropped a 7-1 decision to Tampa Bay last time out with a run given up on six hits and three BB through six frames.
The Toronto Blue Jays haven’t had much to cheer about the past few weeks so the team is hoping Tuesday’s win versus the Angels is the start of something big. Toronto starter JA Happ gave up a pair of runs on three hits and three BB through seven frames to pick up the win.

The Blue Jays have named Aaron Sanchez as the starter versus the visiting Angels on Wednesday. Sanchez has been struggled last time out in a 10-5 loss to Oakland with four runs scoring on five hits and four walks over four innings.
