The Cardinals attack consisted of eight hits and three walks with Harrison Bader smacking his 5th long ball while Tommy Pham connected on a sacrifice fly hat plated Dexter Fowler who had three singles.

The Cards send Jack Flaherty to the bump to face Pittsburgh for the second straight time. Flaherty defeated the Pirates 4-1 with the lone run plated on a solo jack through six innings pitched.
