The Cleveland Indians and the Minnesota Twins meet in the finale of their four game AL Central division set from Target Field in MLB action on Sunday.

The Cleveland Indians will look to rebound and salvage a series split with the Twins after dropping game three on Saturday by a final score of 7-1. Francisco Lindor went 2 for 5 with a double and Bradley Zimmer had two hits as well, while Jose Ramirez, Edwin Encarnacion and Jason Kipnis had base hits to cap off the offense for the Tribe in the loss. Trevor Bauer took the loss after giving up all seven runs, three earned, on six hits while walking three and striking out 11 over 5.2 innings of work, falling to 4-4 this season. Mike Clevinger will start game four and is 4-2 with a 3.14 ERA and 61 strikeouts this season. In his career, Clevinger is 1-2 with a 3.74 ERA and 24 strikeouts against Minnesota.

Minnesota Twins vs. Cleveland Indians - 6/3/18 MLB Pick, Odds, and Prediction

Jesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sports

The Minnesota Twins will look to win the series after taking game three on Saturday. Brian Dozier and Eddie Rosario each had two RBIs, with Rosario hitting a home run while Dozier went 2 for 4 with a triple and a double. Max Kepler and Ryan LaMarre each had an RBI to round out the scoring for the Twins in the win, while Logan Morrison went 2 for 4 and Robbie Grossman added a double to cap off Minnesota’s offense in the victory. Lance Lynn got the win to even his record at 4-4 this season, giving up the one run on two hits while walking and striking out five apiece. Kyle Gibson will start game four and is 1-3 with a 3.57 ERA and 66 strikeouts this season. In his career, Gibson is 2-6 with a 5.82 ERA and 41 strikeouts against Cleveland.

Cleveland is 9-0 in Clevinger’s last 9 division starts and 45-13 in their last 58 division matchups while the over is 12-3-1 in their last 16 games against a team with a losing record. Minnesota is 2-6 in Gibson’s last 8 starts and 2-7 in their last 9 games overall while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games against a right-handed starter. Minnesota is 0-7 in Gibson’s last 7 home starts against Cleveland.

The Twins have been the better team in the last two games of the series, and Cleveland’s pitching has been shaky as of late. However, Clevinger has mostly been an exception to the rule, giving up three runs or less in seven of his last 10 starts. Not to mention Clevinger has been money against the rest of the division. Gibson’s been good against the AL Central too, but he’s struggled for the most part against Cleveland in his career, so I’ll lay the juice with Cleveland on Sunday for the series split.
