The Minnesota Twins and the Cleveland Indians meet in the finale of their three game AL Central division starts from Progressive Field in MLB action on Sunday.

The Minnesota Twins will look to complete the sweep on Sunday after taking the first two games of the set after winning game two by a final score of 9-3 on Saturday. Eddie Rosario, Eduardo Escobar, Logan Morrison and Max Kepler each had a double and two RBIs, with Rosario going 4 for 4 with a home run and a total of four runs in the win, while Morrison went 2 for 4 with a pair of doubles. Ehire Adrianza added a two-bagger of his own and Joe Bauer went 2 for 4 at the dish while Robbie Grossman added a base hit as well in the winning effort. Fernando Romero gave up all three runs on six hits over four innings of work, not factoring in the decision. Matt Magill got the win after throwing three perfect innings of relief to climb to 2-1 this season. Jake Odorizzi will start the finale and is 3-3 with a 4.19 ERA and 72 strikeouts this season. In his career, Odorizzi is 1-2 with a 6.33 ERA and 29 strikeouts against Cleveland.

The Cleveland Indians will look to salvage a win and avoid the sweep after dropping the first two games of the series, including game two on Saturday. Francisco Lindor and Jose Ramirez each had a solo home run, while Tyler Naquin added an RBI of his own with a double. Yan Gomes went 2 for 4 and Lonnie Chisenhall added a double as well, while Michael Brantley, Edwin Encarnacion and Jason Kipnis each contributed a base hit as well in defeat. Carlos Carrasco lasted just 1.1 innings, giving up four runs on four hits, taking the loss to drop to 8-5 this season. Shane Bieber will start game three and is 0-0 with a 6.35 ERA and 6 strikeouts this season. This will be Bieber’s second career start against Minnesota.

Minnesota is 8-3 in their last 11 games against a right-handed starter and 1-4 in Odorizzi’s last 5 division starts while the over is 4-1-1 in Odorizzi’s last 6 road starts. Cleveland is 1-4 in their last 5 games overall and 53-23 in their last 76 home games while the over is 22-4-1 in their last 27 home games. Minnesota is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings between these two teams and 6-2 in the last 8 meetings between these two teams in Cleveland.

Bieber has already faced the Twins a couple of weeks ago in his major league debut, and got roughed up a bit to the tune of four runs in 5.2 innings of work. Odorizzi has allowed three runs or less in eight of his last nine starts, and while the Twins haven’t gotten the win in many of those starts, he’s still given the Twins a chance to win those games. Minnesota has simply been the better team in the first two games of the series, and at plus money on Sunday I think they’re worth a serious look to complete the sweep as Cleveland just doesn’t have it right now.
