Atlanta gives Tuesday’s series opening start at Toronto to rookie Michael Soroka. Sokora comes off of a 2-0 win versus the NY Mets where he gave up one hit and a walk over 6.1 frames.
The Toronto Blue Jays have followed a three game skid with a three game sweep of visiting Washington after an 8-6 victory on Sunday. Toronto starter Sam Gaviglio received a ND with three runs scoring over four innings with Joe Biagini giving up two runs in the 6th. Ryan Tepera gave recorded the final four outs to get the Jays in the win column.
