Nothing went well for San Diego with starter Joey Lucchesi giving up four runs on three hits and two BB over 1.2 frames while three relievers allowed a combined eight runs.

The Padres logged nine hits and four bases on balls with Christian Villanueva clubbing his 16th long ball while Travis Jankowski went 2-4 with an RBI and run.
The Padres have tabbed Tyson Ross as Thursday’s starter at San Francisco who he will see for the third time. Ross comes off of a 4-2 defeat at Atlanta with three runs given up on three hits and a BB in six innings.
