MLB action on Friday features the Colorado Rockies hosting the Miami Marlins.
The Miami Marlins are looking to avoid a three game skid following a 6-5 loss at San Francisco on Wednesday. Miami starter Jose Urena fell to 2-9 with five runs allowed on eight hits and a pair of BB in 5.2 frames while Tayron Guerrero giving up an unearned run.

The Marlins pounded out 13 hits and walked twice with Starlin Castro leading the offense with a pair of runs driven in while Miguel Rojas went 3-4 with an RBI and two runs.
The Marlins kick off their series at Coors Field with Wei-Yin Chen on the hill. Chen is gunning for back to back wins after defeating Baltimore 5-4 with three runs scoring in a six inning stint.
The Colorado Rockies are looking for a prolonged hot streak and might be on their way after a three game sweep of the Mets capped off by a 6-4 victory on Thursday. Colorado starter Kyle Freeland picked up the win with two runs plated in six innings while Chris Rusin and Jake McGee gave up a run each.
The Rockies did their damage on nine hits and four bases on balls with Nolan Arenado gong 2-5 with a three run bomb and five RBI’s overall while DJ LeMahieu and Charlie Blackmon each had two hits and scored two twice.
The Rockies are hoping Jon Gray can right the ship when he toes the rubber against Miami on Friday. Gray comes in off of a 13-12 loss (ND) at Texas where he was charged with six runs over five frames.
Miami are 18-38 in their last 56 road games. Over is 10-1-1 in Colorado last 12 home games and Colorado are 2-8 in their last 10 home games and over is 17-6-3 in Colorado last 26 overall. Under is 16-5 in the last 21 meetings and Miami are 15-6 in the last 21 meetings.
Colorado might be heating up but the way Gray has been throwing I’d do something on the over or look elsewhere…
