The Detroit Tigers did not have many things go favorably in a 10-0 defeat at Cleveland on Friday. Detroit starter Mike Fiers was charged with four runs over five frames to get the loss with Johnny Barbato getting tagged with five runs in just 1/3 of an inning.

The Tigers offense was limited to five hits and a base on balls and hit in to a pair of double plays. Jordan Zimmermann makes his second straight start for the Tigers on Saturday Zimmermann comes off of a 7-5 win at the White Sox with four runs plated through five frames.
The Cleveland Indians could do no wrong in Friday’s victory which extended their AL Central lead. Cleveland starter Shane Bieber picked up the win with seven shutout innings where he recorded nine strikeouts.
The Indians logged eight hits and walked five times with Francisco Lindor going deep and scoring twice while Edwin Encarnacion and Yonder Alonso had two hits each including homers and combined for seven RBI’s.
Trevor Bauer opposes the Tigers on Saturday looking for his second straight win. Bauer comes off of a 6-2 victory versus he White Sox with seven scoreless innings of work.
