The San Diego Padres much needed hot streak will have to wait another day to begin after a 5-3 loss at San Francisco on Saturday. The game was up for grabs before Adam Cimber, Phil Maton and Robbie Erlin combined to give up four runs in four innings.

The Padres totaled eleven hits and walked three times with Hunter Renfroe went deep while AJ Ellis was 3-3 and drove in a run. Eric Lauer toes the rubber against San Francisco ho he sees for the second time. Lauer comes off of a 4-2 loss to Oakland with an unearned run given up over six innings of work.
