For Tuesday’s game, the Jays will be bringing out Ryan Borucki. This will be Borucki’s Major League debut, and he’s sorely needed with the injuries to the Jays’ roster.

The top hitter for the Jays this year is Yangervis Solarte, with 75 hits, 38 runs, 15 homers and 44 RBI coming into this set. In the opener, Solarte plated a run.

Over on the Astros’ side, they’re going with Charlie Morton on Tuesday. Across 88.2 innings and a 9-1 mark this season, Morton has a 2.74 ERA with 109 Ks and 37 BBs.

Jose Altuve is way out front for the Astros’ hitting lead, with 108 hits, 52 runs and 41 RBI coming into this series. On Monday, Altuve had a hit and a run.

The Blue Jays are 3-8 in their last 11 in game two of a series and 0-4 in their last four Tuesday games. The under is 5-1 in the Jays’ last six in game two of a series and Toronto is 4-9 in their last 13 versus the AL West.

Meanwhile, the Astros are 46-22 in their last 68 in game two of a series and 4-1 in Morton’s last five home starts. Houston is also 1-4 in Morton’s last five starts in game two of a series and 6-2 in his last eight starts.

Since Morton’s six earned in 5.1 innings versus the Red Sox at the beginning of the month, he’s given up four earned on seven hits in 15.2 innings over a span of three starts. That gives Morton six quality starts in his last eight outings. I’m pretty confident Morton can keep it going here, so I’m going to go Astros for the win.
