The Kansas City Royals visit the Milwaukee Brewers in an interleague MLB tilt on Tuesday.

The Kansas City Royals are hoping for a prolonged hot streak and Monday’s 2-0 victory could be the start. Kansas City didn’t do much at the plate but didn’t need to with starter Brad Keller tossing a two hit shutout over seven innings to even his record a 2-2.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

The Royals totaled nine hits and three bases on balls with Lucas Duda and Rosell Herrera driving in runs while Hunter Dozier and Adelberto Mondesi scoring. Kansas City has tabbed Jakob Junis as Tuesday’s starter at Miller Park. Junis comes in off of a 3-2 loss versus the Rangers with all three runs scoring on five hits and four BB in five frames.

The Milwaukee Brewers look to get in the win column after an 8-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday saddled the team with consecutive losses. Milwaukee starter Jhoulys Chacin struggled with all eight runs given up on nine hits and five BB over 4.1 innings.

The Brewers offense consisted of six hits and a pair of bases on balls with Christian Yelich slamming his 10th long ball while Hernan Perez smacked an RBI single that scored Ryan Braun.

Milwaukee will go with rookie Freddy Peralta as the starter against visiting Kansas City on Tuesday. In three starts Peralta has gone 2-0 with a 2.30 ERA covering 15.2 innings of work.

Under is 10-1 in Kansas City last 11 interleague games and Kansas City are 2-8 in their last 10 road games and Kansas City are 2-6 in their last 8 interleague road games. Under is 20-6-2 in Milwaukee last 28 interleague games and under is 18-6 in Milwaukee last 24 Tuesday games and Milwaukee are 11-4 in their last 15 Tuesday games. Kansas City  are 8-2 in the last 10 meetings and under is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings.

Kansas City has the pitching advantage so Milwaukee has to show some life at the plate…
